The Calgary Justice film Festival is a nonprofit organization that displays locally made productions focussed on bringing awareness to injustice in Canada.
While being a student at Mount Royal University, I had the opportunity to write for the Calgary Journal. This gave me the experience I needed to understand what it means to work as a Journalist; how to work with others, how to work against the deadline, and how to ethically and responsibly create credible news stories. I also had the opportunity to work as an editor for the Calgary Journal, I instantly found enjoyment in supporting other students with their publication goals.
